CVG Properties is actively searching for an enthusiastic Community Manager to join our CA team to directly oversee Canyon Run Apartments, a well maintained 37-unit apartment community in El Cajon, and to work with and assist our other CA managers on our el cajon, La Mesa, and Santee communities

Who are we: CVG Properties is experienced and progressive owner/manager of over 2,300 apartment units in California, Arizona Utah and Texas with a forward-thinking customer service and team-oriented management approach.

Who are You: An experienced multifamily professional Community Manager or Assistant Manager or leasing agent who understands or can see the value, benefit, and stability of working directly with an owner/operator to proactively manage our communities, have your voice heard, and help shape the direction, and success of both our communities and the company.

Where will you shine: Canyon Run Apartments (37 Units). Other CVG Properties included Sunset Gardens (El Cajon), The Woods (El Cajon), The Palms of La Mesa (La Mesa), Carlton Heights (Santee).

As a Community Manager, you will work directly with and under the supervision of the Regional Manager in the oversight of your assigned community. Additionally, you will work with the other Management and Maintenance team members in California to ensure that all CVG communities are performing well.

As the CEO of a multi-million-dollar property the Community Manager is tasked with overseeing and optimizing all the property operations, general administration, and maintenance of the property. Starting with a focus on providing best-in-class customer service to our residents and to all potential residents, the Assistant Community Manager will ensure efficient operations through proper revenue and expense control, vendor relations, maintenance, lease administration, team building and monthly reporting. If you are an experienced multifamily Assistant Manager, leasing agent, or have experience in a related field (sales & customer service) with a desire to work in property management and a drive to be the best, we want to hear from you.

What You Bring:

  • High school graduate or GED. Associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
  • 1 or more years as a multifamily leasing agent, or assistant manager; will consider 2 years experience in a customer service and/or sales related business.
  • Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.
  • Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
  • Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, including Yardi, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience using Yardi or other property management software is beneficial
  • Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
  • Participate in training to comply with new or existing laws.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $47,840.00 per year
